NSC's Refugee Resettlement & Placement department is seeking a weekly volunteer! Volunteers are needed every Monday and/or Friday from 2pm-4pm, and assist the Resettlement team organize the refugee inventory storage unit and load home set up items into a van. Multiple donations and bulk items have been received and organizing this storage area is much needed. Packing, unboxing, lifting heavy items, as well as possibly driving to another nearby storage area (3 minutes away) to put bulk supplies away. NSC's Food Pantry is down one staff member and is seeking the assistance of 3-5 volunteers to assist with the packing and delivery of groceries. We will also need: 1 (extra) volunteer every Tuesday from 12:15pm-2:00pm, and then 2:00-2:30pm 2 volunteers Wednesday from 10am-1pm, then another 2 volunteers from 1pm-3:30pm 1 volunteer Thursday 10am-12pm If you are interested in this opportunity please sign up through Volunteer Matters or email Raia (rsantos@nscphila.org).
