On Friday, August 23rd, NSC will be hosting its Annual Backpack Distribution! We are seeking 5-10 volunteers to assist with setting up for the event, checking in clients, distributing backpacks & other supplies and cleaning up. The event will be held from 10am-1pm. We are asking volunteers to arrive around 9:30am. If you are interested & available, please sign up through the Volunteer Matters portal!

On Thursday, August 22nd, NSC will be picking up 500 backpacks for the our upcoming annual Backpack Distribution event. We are seeking 5-10 volunteers to assist with unloading, sorting and shelving the bags, in preparation for the event on the 23rd. Volunteers should arrive at 1216 Arch Street, 4th floor by 12pm. NSC's Refugee Resettlement & Placement department is seeking a monthly volunteer! The first and last Monday of each month from 2pm-4pm, volunteers will organize the refugee inventory storage unit. Multiple donations and bulk items have been received and organizing this storage area is much needed. Packing, unboxing, lifting heavy items, as well as possibly driving to another nearby storage area (3 minutes away) to put bulk supplies away.
